Privacy

Draft — pending lawyer review. Last updated October 8, 2026. This policy covers the Solace United website ("we"). It is written to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA).

Who this site is for

This site is for adults. RSVP, check-in, text messages and the drop waitlist are 18+. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and we delete it if we learn we have.

What we collect

  • What you type into a form: name, phone, email, Instagram handle, what you ride, your photo preference, and messages you send us.
  • Consent records: the exact wording you agreed to, the page, the time, a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser's user agent.
  • Basic usage: which meet pages, calendar files and links are used. We store a hashed IP, never the raw address. No advertising pixels, no cookies for analytics.
  • Our admin uses one cookie to keep crew members signed in. Public visitors get no tracking cookies.

How we use it

  • To run meets: RSVP lists, check-ins and attendance counts.
  • To send texts or emails you opted into: meet alerts, photo drops and merch drops. Texts are about 4 a month.
  • To honor your photo preference at meets.
  • To show partners total counts (for example, how many people checked in). Never your personal details.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share your personal information, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.

Text messages

Text messages are sent only if you tick the box that asks for them. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. You can also tell us to stop in plain words, and we'll stop within 10 business days at most. Consent isn't required to RSVP, check in or buy anything.

Photos

Meets are photographed. You can ask at check-in for us not to post your face or plate, or not to post you at all. To remove or blur a photo of you, message us on Instagram and we'll handle it within 72 hours.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to stop all messages. Message us on Instagram at @solace.united. We respond within 30 days.

Storage and security

Data is stored with our hosting provider in the United States. Access is limited to signed-in crew members.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above. Material changes will be posted on this page before they apply.
